American Income Life Delivers Scholarship fund to District 70

Today at District 70, representatives from American Income Life Insurance Company stopped by with more than just a visit, they came bearing an investment in the future of union families.

Morgan Breier, Lacy Martin, and Randy Wade presented District 70 with a $1,500 check as part of the company’s Bernard Rapoport Scholarship Fund, a program dedicated to helping further the education of union members and their families. The scholarship reflects a long-standing commitment to supporting working families and strengthening the labor movement through opportunity and access to education.

The contribution is part of American Income Life’s 75th Anniversary celebration, during which the company is giving back in a major way by distributing a total of $75,000 in scholarship funds to unions across the country. District 70 is proud to be among the recipients benefiting from this nationwide initiative.

As a company founded on working-class values, American Income Life continues to stand firmly behind organized labor, supporting unions 100%. Their anniversary celebration isn’t just about marking 75 years in business, it’s about honoring the partnerships and principles that have defined their mission from the beginning.

“I want to personally thank American Income Life for their continued commitment to union families,” said IAM District 70 President and Directing Business Representative Lisa Whitley. “Investing in education is investing in the future of our membership. Scholarships like this open doors of opportunity for our members and their children, and we are proud to partner with organizations that truly stand behind working people.”

District 70 extends its appreciation to Morgan, Lacy, Randy, and the entire American Income Life team for their continued support and for investing in the educational goals of union families. Together, we are building stronger futures, one scholarship at a time.
