On October 3, 2026, IAM District 70 hosted its annual Doggie Bowl, bringing union members and the community together for a day of bowling, food, raffle prizes and an auction, all while raising money for Guide Dogs of America.
The event was a great opportunity for everyone to have fun while supporting an organization that helps provide guide dogs to individuals who are visually impaired and service dogs for veterans and children with autism as well as facility dogs in hospitals, schools and courtrooms.
A special thank you goes to puppy trainer Barbara Mashak and puppy in training Shadow for joining us. We also appreciate Jennifer Avery and facility dog Valoo from the Wichita Children’s Home for coming out and being part of the event.
