Hispanic Heritage Month Profiles: Angelo Ornelas

Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month, the AFL-CIO will be profiling leaders and activists to spotlight the diverse contributions Hispanics and Latinos have made to the labor movement. Today’s profile features Angelo Ornelas.

Angelo Ornelas is a Mexican American and a proud member of Ironworkers Local 397 in Tampa, Florida, since 2014. He is an organizer with the Ironworkers Southeastern States District Council, fighting every day to organize ironworkers.
