IAM Air Transport General Vice President Richard Johnsen and IAM Air Transport Territory Chief of Staff Edison Fraser recently visited IAM members at Alaska Airlines in Juneau, Fairbanks, and Anchorage, AK. The well-planned station tours were set up to meet with Customer Service, Ramp, and Cargo IAM members and answer any questions members wanted to ask. Johnsen speaks about the historic tentative agreement the membership is currently voting on, which, if ratified, would make IAM members at Alaska Airlines the highest paid workers by classification in the industry passing by the larger air carriers of United, American, and Delta.
