Wichita, KS – September 2, 2025. The International Association of Machinists (IAM) Local 2799 commenced contract negotiations today with Bosch, formerly Johnson Controls.
Representing the membership at the bargaining table is the Local 2799 Negotiating Committee, joined by International Representative from the IAM Southern Territory Jason Schroeder, IAM District 70 President and DBR Lisa Whitley, ADBR Rick Harvey, and District 70 Business Rep Wendy Brooks.
The negotiating team enters these discussions with a commitment to securing a strong and equitable agreement that protects the rights of the membership, strengthens workplace standards, and reflects the vital contributions of IAM members at Bosch.
IAM leadership has emphasized that the collective strength and solidarity of the membership will be instrumental in achieving a fair contract.
