Standing Strong: IAM Locals Unite Against Union-Busting at Bosch

In a powerful display of solidarity, members from IAM Locals 639, 839, 774, and 2799 along with members from SEIU Kansas, MINK Pipe Trades, Sheet Metal Workers’ Local 29, IBEW Local Union # 271 – Wichita, KS, National Nurses United and Ironworkers Local 24 Wichita gathered in Wichita, KS, to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their union brothers and sisters at Bosch (formerly Johnson Controls) who are facing aggressive union-busting tactics from the company. Armed with signs declaring “Proud to be Union” and their voices, these dedicated members made sure their message couldn’t be ignored – bringing the fight for workers’ rights directly to the company’s doorstep.

Their presence was a loud and visible reminder that union members will not back down when the right to organize and bargain collectively is under attack. “AN ATTACK ON ONE IS AN ATTACK ON ALL!!!” The labor movement is built on the principle that when one of us is targeted, all of us stand together. This united action sends a clear message to Bosch: the IAM will fight for its members, defend their rights, and protect the power of collective bargaining – today, tomorrow, and for as long as it takes.
